Samsung Galaxy S20 + Green Line issue yet again.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus model premium phone.

Suddenly I am seeing this green vertical line on my mobile, my phone is not under warranty as well, it's been 8 months now since warranty has overed.
But as I can see this is not just my issue, it's the hardware issue that occurred on lots of mobiles all over the world.
I did purchase this in Oct 2020 and I got this issue today without any physical or liquid damage,

My samsung S20+ worked fine for many years, i did a UI update and then just 2 days after that a green line appeared.

Samsung replacing All s20+ screen and battery free of cost. Till 2022 December (for geen line issue) even if out of warranty.
I have done it today for my 2 yr old phone.

Yes, greenline is permanent, the only way is to replace the phone LCD, If left, the lines add a lot

I've just bought a new s23 phone to replace my old note 20 ultra. Was planning to give the 2-year-old note 20 ultra to my wife. But what did you know, while I was transferring data from the note 20 to s23 suddenly a green line appeared on the note ultra. This really made me questioned the quality of Samsung product especially on a flagship phone like the note series. Now I'm worrying the same fate will be befallen on the s23. If this issue does occur to s23 phone than people should really consider ditching Samsung to other more reliable brand. There should be no excuses from Samsung. Samsung should have given free replacement screen for the victim affected by this issue. Its been happening since the release of the s20 series phone and now s21 and s22 are also affected by this problem. Seem like Samsung is playing the wai0ting game hoping the problem to only occur after the warranty period end thus denying responsibility after that.

A green vertical line popped out of nowhere on my Note 20 Ultra while charging. The line turned to color white. Now its color pink.

Can't, we uninstall the recent updates? Due to which this issue is happening... Companies should give us this feature to uninstall the last updates.

Just got my green line today on the big screen. Didn't drop or anything. These phones are trash. Mine is horizontal.

UPDATE: After the october update the first line became white then the second line became green and the 3rd line became pink. There is another added 4th green line.

Poco f4 also occurs green line like this. Most amoled i know breaks like this and it almost random, some might 1 year, 2 years, etc. Meanwhile IPS screens could go on forever even if the glass broken. But amoled colors and contrast ratio is unbeatable

I have samsung A73. Two days ago I received one ui 6.0 update. I updated and now i got one vertical line. I tweeted two tweets in twitter. But no one help me to resolve this issue.

It's really annoying to use the phone when you see this green line....Samsung should be responsible for this. What is the use of spending so much and facing such issues. These issues has to be reported to consumer forum

My s22 ultra is having this issue a few days ago. I contacted the samsung support and they referred me to their samsung service center near our place. The service repair center called me and gave me the breakdown cost for the LCD replacement and its about 300$

Had a green line on my note 20 ultra when I woke up, been planning to upgrade to a new samsung phone, but after knowing that their handset been having this issue and they not solving this, well my note 20 ultra will be my last samsung phone.
