for cutting the display adhesive i recommend the iplastix pry card, its soft and flimsy enough not to damage or put unwanted stresses on the screen panel, but hard enough to cut right through the adhesive

I'm sure this has been asked but is it possible to just replace a cracked screen glass alone, not the amoled or anything else? The screen has a crack in it, but will still come off in one piece. I just want to swap it out and have a nice phone again, but want to do it right. I'm mechanically inclined, so it's definitely something I can do, even if I do have to swap out the amoled as well.
