Did a similar drill to go from 2 fingers to 3. Practice the release at home on my couch. Then took it to the lanes to incorporate the approach 👍

When I was teen just getting into the sport I used to do this in my room when I was board. It seemed like overnight I was actually hooking the ball, shocked heck out of my dad.
