Tahini Halva Recipe

How to make Tahini Halva at home:

2 dl ( 120g) icing sugar
1dl (60g) milk powder
1dl (80g) tahini
½ dl (25g) pistachio
1 tsp rose water
1 tsp oil
½ dl (25g) chopped pistachio

been meaning to make this for a while because i find it interesting to make a dessert from sesame seeds :D just made some and omg i cant contain myself to let it cool down but I will! thank you for the no-bake recipe!

I am so happy that I found this recipe - I really like halvardeh but I live far out in the country in Denmark and I'll have to drive for 40 minutes to get to at store that sells halva - but this looks so easy I think that I
ll try making it at home as soon as I can buy tahin paste. Kheili mamnoon.

I do suggest you don't mix the pistachio with the liquid directly, but put it on the top of the shaped Tahini Halva, then it maybe a bit better. Thanks for sharing.

This is not real halve, too crunchy and no need for powdered milk

la recette n'est pas du tout comme ca! on doit petrir la pate au moins 20 mn pour une texture du vrai halva! la rien n'est melangé! vous vous trompez de gateau me semble t-il

Wrong, real halwa is made from meringue like nougat. This recipe could nowhere near resemble the texture
