You don't have to yell, scream, and shout to be considered a great singer. Aaliyah's signature is the breathily/soft tone, but sis can go there if she wanted to. If she was still here in the physical form, her voice would still be GREAT!. No shade but for example : some of the Strong singers, like Mary, Mariah, etc. Don't sound like they use too, Aaliyah had that " I love my vocal cords voice". lol
