So glad to hear some new Joji music! I was definitely surprised when this song came out — you don't exactly expect the artist who helped define the lo-fi genre with his early projects to return to the spotlight with a song that has no beat at all. At the same time, it's such a fitting feature for his heartbreaking lyrics and signature vocal style. Excited to see what he's been cooking up for his new project!

usually i dont like string instrument or piano covers of pop-ish music, but these melodies are so unique that it works quite well and the chorus sounds beautiful on cello

I didn't know "Glimpse of Us" would come out so perfectly on the cello. And the cello seamlessly compliments the range of notes on the song. Amazing job to you @Nicholas Yee your accents during the piece showed perfect emotions. I sit in aw because your performance showed why string instruments are so amazing.
