I think this is a beautiful song of how a struggle between wanting to be loved but not believing you're worthy of that love can happen. It's an expression of how we long to be loved and feel loved but at the end of the day.. We're afraid to love them because when we're at our lows like this we think it's better for them to be with someone else who may not hurt them like this since we retreat into a shell, unloving, sometimes unkind too. This speaks from both sides though because we also understand how much the other loves us and being grateful for that.. it heavily plays on the saying of "When someone truly loves you their biggest fear is to hurt you, but when someone is in love with how you make them feel, their biggest fear is loosing you." Sometimes though, we find someone who cares so much they are able to keep themselves afloat all the while supporting the other but how? right? I think it's because their love runs deeper than we can understand, and whether or not you're the support or they are, it shows just how much love they have to offer because they still feel loved by you even in moments of darkness. Well the song came on first song on my playlist after some emotional damage has been made to me me and a girl I had strong feelings for we're going to go a separate ways she would never tell me but she has been showing red flags and I'm parting ways with her. No more dates no more wasted time 39 years I've been single and probably only 11 dates have I ever been on between three girls nine of them being with the one I just went with. It really, , she was almost compatible. I'm so sick of people playing mind games and wasting time on dating apps and meeting fake people and gold diggers

Sometimes, really, when we're at our lowest, we tend to push away people who really cares for us, we fog our mind with questions like, "How can they love someone like me?", "Why are they doing all of these for me?", "Are they just pitying me?", etc. 'Cause in our mind, we believe that we're "unworthy" of their love, and deep down, we know, our actions hurt them, so it might be for the better. But what's more confusing, despite all of that, there are really others, who are more than willing to get hurt, just to "love" us, and ngl, I find that both truly beautiful and painful. Painful, because, you can't help but question, how and why? is it because they, too, have gone down this road, that's why they understand our actions, or is it because they pity us? and we'll never know, until we ask, but then again, most of the times, even if they give an answer that lightens our feelings, you can't help but think, is it a sugared lie?

This song reminds me of a similar true story about a guy I know quite well: This guy once had a person he loved above all else, she was a very loving, kind, sweet and gentle soul with her heart in the right place, he had the best time of his life with this girl and thought it would be like that for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, such moments didn't last forever, because after a few years they broke up 'cause the girl had fallen in love with someone else and she realised that they had actually grown apart with him a long time ago. At first, he didn't wanted to believe that his time with her was over just like that, and he resolved to show her all the love he felt for her and to fight for her; He thought for a few days about the best way to show her his love, but when he saw her lying on the sofa crying the next day 'cuz she couldn't visit him, he realised how much the girl loved the other, because he knew how she could be like when she gave her love to someone with all her heart, and he decided shortly afterwards to give up his plan to fight for her, 'cause it tore his heart apart to see her suffer like that, and so he decided on a different plan. The next day, he took the girl to a small river with a small bridge across it, took a chain and a padlock with him, wrapped the chain around the bridge's railing and attached the padlock to the chain. On the back of the lock were their initials engraved, then he threw the key of the lock into the river to symbolise that this chapter with her is closed after 9 years of relationship, even though this decision hurt him a lot 'cause she was his love of his life, he knew deep inside that it was time and the best to let her go. And the chain is still locked on this bridge to this day.

I truly understand the message behind the song very well, and even if it's also a sign of love to let someone go, but I also believe that there are people who are worth holding on to, even though it may be a very selfish and egotistical act of those people to hold on to someone like that, but they may have their own reason for doing, so that the other person doesn't really understand, after all nothing happens without a reason.

In any case, this song is beautiful and very touching, also fuck...I really felt the emotion behind it and it let me actually freaking tear up. Bravo, Yun, you did an incredible and amazing hob with this song❤
