Most translations of the Bible are more a paraphrase than a translation. My classics professor said this is because the original is full of what we call four letter words. Our notorious "F" word is a good example. It is derived from the Koine Greek word fuio which means to plant seed in the ground.

I will stick with the tlv heck even the message. I got little trust in translations that don't include the old testament especially a messianic one.
