You have the new revision that one of the upgrades is the grips (TPU instead of TPE), they are a lot darker than the original ones (that were dark grey)
Funky switches are all the same, they are made by Alps Alpine and every manufacturer uses them, so the feel change can only be affected by the knob, which on the Simagic GT Neo is quite slippery and that's the only knobs i recommend to upgrade on the GT Neo, the absolute encoders ones are quite good, there is no reason to change them.
For the shifters, just add extra magnets, the firmware will reset the shifter position every time it's connected, so don't forget to reconnect the wheel after installing the magnets, otherwise the calibration will be off since it's using hall sensors.

So fun fact. I was watching this video by chance and was looking to see if you had reviewed the simagic alpha mini. I thought you were in 100k subscribers not 100s. Video quality is great and you are great on camera! Keep up the videos man looking forward to more! Subscribed!

I just wish more youtubers would be more honest about these wheels. Its a fantastic wheel but its still a budget wheel guys. Im happy you pointed out the plastic and stuff. These are things that must be cut for the price. I mean had ro cut corners somwhere. But it feels so good to race with for sure. Ergonomics are fantastic tbh.

Also all simagic wheels now come with the same quick release. Every single model now. Just for future reference. Umless you so happen to get old stock. But if you buy the gtc, gt neo, fx pro pr anything else its all the newer model qr thats on the gt neo.

Also simagic sneaks in updates. The gt neo has already been updated and is a v2. Slightly better grips that will last longer. New piece towards the grips I guess for it to not break easily. Even the led's around the thumb knobs are different now. But all good updates.

I have one, owned it for about a year. Love it. It does everything i need... except The clutch paddles don't calibrate like others. Thats the only thing i don;t like. I am a bang for buck type shopper and this is the King of that category.

Everyone’s complaints are “I wish it had nicer materials so it would cost way more then I would like it more”. Cause let’s be honest if this came out with 80 dollars more materials in it for 900 dollars retail everyone would be LOVING it.

So here is the thing before I say anything else I have to admit that I came to the GTNeo from a G29 so Ive not much experience. that said every rim ive looked at since buying it is ruined. because I look and think is that rim twice as good or three four five times better, they just cant be. So there is no way I can justify buying another one until it falls apart. its been four months I use it a lot and it looks new.
