The reality is that the 2016 election left the Democratic Party in bad shape, despite the popularity of President Obama.

The progressive, multimedia organization "Democracy is Color" has a plan for Democrats to reclaim victory up and down the ballot over the next four years.

Why are we still trying to assimilate into "American politics"? We should force Americans to let us govern ourselves, much like the "Native Americans". Our ancestors never wanted us to integrate with our captors, we should consider ourselves sovereign citizens who are victims of European plundering. 400 years of pain and suffering can't be thrown to the wayside, as if it never happened, we as a people need to re-establish our past greatness, which can never be done if we're relying on the toubab's permission. That's why it's critical that black people find their roots in Africa, that way we'll have a continent we can truly call OUR home. We should continue to fight for our reparations, with that we could all go back home. To those of us who want to stay, good luck dealing with the toubab and their savagery for another 400yrs. We could build a great new empire, with the help of our continental brothers & sisters, that would rival Europe. But we must first learn to truly cooperate with one another, as African Warriors. We could rebuild our Army...because that is one thing we black folk don't have, we have a lot of people willing to hold guns, but not one is truly honorable. What happened to our Honor? Oh, it was STOLEN! by the toubab. And we don't have the power or the unity to take it back...or at least not yet we don't.
