This was a really good podcast! I think that Thomas experience can help us when we are in crisis and it feels like the prayers fall on deaf ears. I prayed everyday for 7 years for my ex-husband to turn away from his theosophical new age beliefs and the prayers weren’t answered. You could feel the spiritual warfare! It was palpable! The divorce happened when he started going to the occult stores! He was in a Christian adult singles group when I met him! I have always had faith my whole life, but after this I couldn’t pray anymore. I lost a loving family-my beloved mother-in-law and my father-in-law, ( my mom passed when was 28 and my dad was brutally murdered when I was 3 1/2 years old) and a life that was relatively comfortable finance wise. I remember praying outside in my car after everything was all over and I was so scared because I was losing my faith for the first time in my life and to me, losing that, I told God that if that happened then what was the point of my being born? God led people to me that prayed for me and my faith! And this eventually led me to Kensington 18 years ago! As I looked back between the divorce which was devastating to me! Now, 29 years later I realized how much God was teaching me so many good things and my faith was so enriched that I realized that God was always there and he was actually opening my eyes to a lot of things that would give me strength and knowledge for the times we are in today! I have been blessed to have a husband that is a faithful Christian! I am forever thankful to God and Jesus and his Holy Spirit!
