What a terrific make, jiggling fabric is very satisfying when you manage to make it work. As for not having a clapper “yet” my mother was a seamstress, her clapper decades old was in fact just a block of wood, sanded to smooth, it became shaped to her hand, by use. So we don’t always need to buy these special things, years ago the make do and inventive generations showed us this. They used to use tiny slivers of the end of bars of soap dried out and hardened as a substitute for Taylor’s chalk, made coats etc out of army surplus blankets, and general clothes out of the cotton flour sacks. Your voice is lovely… although I am from Wales in the UK we are meant to be renowned for our beautiful singing voices, sadly this passed me by and I was once told that I had a singing voice like a cat trapped in a tin bucket…!, Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Love that you were diligent in figuring out the plaid design. Sewing often presents little challenges along the way which makes it rewarding. Especially when you make a beautiful garment that you can be proud of. Thank you for including your Christmas concert. Truly beautiful voice.

Love your fabric and the plaids are matched so perfectly.If you decide to top stitch the front edges might look nice with button weight thread in a hand sewn longer stitch around the front and collar. Also the red is a great match with the plaid.. Your voice is lovely and as a choir member myself your musical talent is greatly appreciated in your community

What a lovely voice you have .The jacket turned out really nice .Have not had much time leading up to Christmas to watch my usual YouTube just catching up now .We were finding more people were buying fabric to wrap parcels or make gift bags it has kept us busy when normally it is just ribbon for parcels or small gifts for stockings 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎄✂️🥂
