I also had to factory reset a couple weeks ago, it doesnt delete your cosmetics because thats saved to your accounts and not on your headset. The same thing goes for any files that are not saved in the cloud.

(Read this) this happened to me and I couldn’t even enter my vr. So I factory reseted I freaked out about it but I realised I had to do it. I did it and as usual it was like a new headset. But I logged into my old oculus acc and I had an option that said restore games I restored my games. Then I downloaded gorilla tag first and I had all my stuff I was so happy and yes. Also the way this happened was from ur storage being full.

There is one way to encounter the shellenvs or any over bug that you need to factory reset on.
It’s just how much data you have because I use to record my self playing hours of gorilla tag and if you hit 0g storage, you gonna lose it all.

i also had to factory reset. i had the same problem except i was stuck in pass through.. and i factory reset and lost all my games and stuff still annoying to this day. hope the best for you. 🎉🎉🎉
