Before there was a title for it I experienced this through parents, husband, , acquaintances, friends.What I have noticed across the board is the parents of these people could never say the word " NO" to them and they could never do any wrong.They continuously gave and never put them in their place then made them end up with egos that no one could deal with called " Narcissism".

Social media is one of them and a lot of people are living their lives and interacting online instead of in person.

Lots of people cannot deal or address their trauma after dealing with a Narc .. at this point if the person is not narcissistic they are at least toxic after such affairs

Maybe because we label everyone. Maybe some people are a hammer looking for a nail. Much like the people that study pandemics. Just a thought.
