I made tons of doll and other toy contraptions and objects for my daughter when she was younger and she still has them today as a teen. Now she has me making things on the 3D printer for her… my mother never did any of this stuff for or with me. I love my mom, but she spent more time catering to my older brother and I was left by myself to play alone. So seeing someone else grasp the concept of making things for your own child as not trying to “go cheap” or whatever, but that u are building a bond and appreciation, while soothing a part of your own soul at the same time

Omg you made me cry. I never had the mother I wanted or deserved. I was severely abused and have never had any family. This is the kind of mother I wanted. Thank you for giving her what so many of us don’t have and deserve. I’m an adult now but still find myself searching for a mother and a family.
