If they can’t or won’t accept it then they don’t matter. My friend’s father has absolutely disowned her for getting engaged to another woman but he’s been the only one and his loss is so much greater than hers. He’s loosing the opportunity to see his daughter happy, to get to know this wonderful woman who can complete her, and most of all, he’s lost his only daughter. But we all support her and her future wife, not to mention…her mom divorced her dad and married my uncle, so now she has EVEN MORE support from an already open family. ❤
