Today, we talk about Processing CinemaDNG Raw video with Adobe After Effects, so you can then edit the footage in Premiere. This was once a mystery to me, but now this is a pretty easy work flow. Hopefully this helps some others who want to shoot Cinema DNG Raw Video with a BMPCC, an Ursa, a Sigma FP, or other cameras that still shoot CinemaDNG Raw. As always, thank you for being here!

My question is, what to do about importing multiple footages. Adobe After Effects doesnt have a "RENDER MULTIPLE CLIPS" option. Everything you render turns out in one long bar. Have you found a work around for this; to get every scene and take you shot as an individual clip to just start editing in Premiere pro.

The problem is that dng format bypass all the RAW correction done in MLV app. Like focus dot correction which is not possible to correct in after effects.

is there a way to export individual clips when rendering. So far, all I've been able to do is export one long bar of footage then have to chop it up in premiere

do you know how to convert rec709 overexposed in after effects to sony slog3 cine ? In premiere I can, but with dynamic link after effects destroy the clip to an overexposed rec709.

My daughter has imported video footage onto her computer and will be using premier pro. In between each shot there is a red frame. She's having real problems getting rid of them so that the video will play correctly. Have you come across this before or Can anyone suggest how she can sort this out??

There is an issue with Adobe camera raw. You cannot move the highlight or shadows slider or else the image will dim or flicker under certain lighting conditions.
There are plenty of forums on it where people have asked Adobe to fix it to no avail.

This does not work in After Effects 2022.

Are you serious? If you shoot in DNG you have to do this for every clip? I don't have that many years left.
