At 70, and adapting to a life with my husbands diagnoses of Alzheimer’s, I started following Adriene since halfway through the first lockdown when he was diagnosed. I’ve not missed a day with Adriene since, and I could not have got through our new life without her. She has given me the tools to be strong in every sense of the word. Reading everyone’s comments; that one person can make such a positive difference to so many lives is precious. We need more Adrienes in this world. Thank you Adriene. Namaste 🙏🏻

I began this 30 day journey with the theme of consistency so that I could “fix” my bad habits. While I think my intentions were well meaning the message behind it was not loving. Now on day 26 my intentions and theme have changed from consistency to fix, to nourishment and love for myself mind, body and soul. What an amazing theme for today <3

Today I listened, my body said it’s feeling a little tired, I took a child’s pose for one of the down dogs & messaged my feet like they belonged to someone I truly loved with all my heart 💜🧘‍♀️🙏

I smiled at the end of practice today. I was still smiling as I walked off the mat. I'm still smiling now. So happy to have been able to practice live today. There was a pose I'd never done before. That was challenging but still enjoyable. I'm improving. If anyone needs any words of encouragement: Notice every win. You are getting stronger. You are learning. We all are. Much love. Xxxx

I’ve been going through a long season of loneliness, even before the pandemic, so this reminder from Adriene really resonated and helped me - “We’re always looking for other people to fulfil that love cup, but really we know deep down that it starts with us loving ourselves and being able to advocate for what we need and listen and respond in a loving, kind manner.” Thank you Adriene for this much needed self love practice 🙏🏽

At 72 years of age I am still learning how to love myself. What a process life is! and love is! I do love this yoga practice and how it changes my perspective every day. Namaste to all of you on Day 26.

As usual I had trouble with a lot of the positions. I try to remember this is more difficult for me since I’m doing it with so much more weight than the average person, and bulk preventing me from full extensions. Difficult to be obese and trying yoga but even with all my modifications I’m feeling so, so much better doing this every night.

Today was challenging. I was harsh on myself for not 'nailing' the horizon pose and struggling through it. I know it is wrong to do so but my mind got away from me. As I read the comments on this amazing community, I feel the grace to accept that while that pose was challenging, I did do more Chaturangas and other poses with more strength and ease than before. I am getting stronger. So I am doing my best to give myself credit to the many improvements and Wins in myself than the small Losses, so to speak. A big thank you and Namaste to my friends here in the YWA community for the constant love and support 🙏

I love when Adriene shows she is human. She missed the triangle pose on the left side, but it's OK. I find it really inspiring! As we go on this daily journey, we can add our own Movements to What Feels Good to our body and mind. Thank you so much Adriene for these Life Lessons off the mat.

I’ve been having a difficult time this week following each move in the practice due to my depression… and I am really beating myself up over it. I’m proud of myself for showing up but… it doesn’t seem like it’s enough. Sending love to anyone in a similar situation ❤️
