Sydney Rocky Rock. Great observation. Typically in the past - artists appearing on the Billboard chart was a direct reflection of Album sales or singles sold. That evaluation has changed to predominately radio airplay. In effect - its easy to have songs charting (particularly from artist whose demographic is targeted to inner city youth) - that however does not always translate into sales. Which means the artists owes the label more than he can make - effectively ending his career short.
