Yeah I also saw this setting on my mouse engine itself (steelseries) and I thought about using it, but the height difference makes it really annoying to use sometimes

I've tried and evaluated it so I think if it doesn't allow your cross hair go to a different direction a little bit, it means that if you need a micro adjustment vertical to hit the head the program will not allow you to do that too. And that was what I saw trying.

Guys, legit don't fall for this shit, it screws up ur aim, if you aim is already not good enough there is way better ways to improve it that are not artificial and will carry on from game to game

I’m late. Buts its a crutch. Don’t get used to it. It’s fine in practice sessions, but I would work on aim to remove the bad habits.

I dont like using angle snaping cause im ok with my aim and i dont want to artificially get better aim i want to naturally get better

RawAccel’s “By Component” Feature is much better. It’s essentially a weaker angle snapping without any of the downsides. It makes it so the X and Y-Axes both have their own acceleration curves, so when doing a quick horizontal flick, it’ll be a bit more tight and straight of a line since the vertical sens is lower. This also applies vice versa for vertical movements. If your aim is a tad jittery, or when you do a wide angle flick and your crosshair ends up below or above your intended target, then this will help

for cs and val its kinda gas- but it can really mess you up in games like overwatch and apex where verticality a constant-
left and right flicks and "head height" angle holds aren't a thing in those games really

I’ve had people say I’m cheating or asking me if I’m playing on controller. This doesn’t make ur aim better it only enhances what’s already there. It’ll only help you if u have shaky aim or can’t draw a straight line perfectly

I’ve tried it, before it became a popular thing, because it’s available as a feature on Steelseries mice. It’s terrible. If enemies double peek you, you can’t spray transfer. Don’t even try aiming up at enemies in heaven or down at enemies at lower elevations. And stairs. Just avoid going on any stairs entirely because that brings in diagonal mouse movement.

If you find it hard to move up and down, consider setting the angle snapping value below 30.
