In America in the Southern states afternoon tea is still pretty popular here, I believe it was adopted after the British custom. I love having Sunday afternoon tea with my daughter and girlfriends, especially in the garden if weather permits. If you're ever in North Carolina, you're welcome at our tea table! ❤

Thank you for making this video. Me and my grandmother always had afternoon tea together whenever I visited. Since she passed away I have kept the tradition of setting up a nice afternoon tea and enjoying myself once every two weeks. I don't currently have anyone who's interested in joining me and that might sound a bit sad, but I like the calm and memories it brings me.
