My grandparents sacrificed their retirement to raise my sister and I. This was particularly impactful to me as my grandma's parents died when she was 17, and she had to drop out of school to help raise her three younger siblings.

Then she raised her own four kids with my grandpa, and after that swore up and down she was done raising kids. When I was born, and needed their help raising me, she was honestly against it, until she came to see me in the hospital and said I was "too cute" and she fell in love and couldnt say no.

She spent her whole life raising kids and proved that family always comes first and is always worth it. I miss her and her no-nonsense attitude everyday.
