Next, a report revealed that top EU countries are spending $45 billion to subsidize gas cars. On a positive note, U.S. electric vehicle sales are on the rise again.

Finally, Tesla's new patent could revolutionize high-density computing and give DOJO an edge over NVIDIA.

Jeff Lutz is an ex Supply Chain C-Level Exec at several Fortune 100 companies like Google, Lenovo and Motorola. Currently running his own consulting firm.

Jeff Lutz is on the same level if not beyond the Uber CEO. Amazing insight!

Uber has NOTHING that Tesla can't do better on its own.

I've tried investing in various things that didn't work out as I hoped. Now, I'm looking at ETFs as a more reliable option. What are the best 5 ETFs for a beginner looking to invest a lump sum?

Two weeks ago l let my neighbor try driving my M3 FSD. HE’s is an airline repair person for United Airlines. We drove 45 mins zero intervention. He now wants to try my M3 Performance—> he own an expensive Porsche so he is a car guy. Imagine when he tell his friends. Win win win. Free advertising for Tesla.

I have more friends who want to drive my FSD.

Jeff’s analysis is so well thought out. He should be on mainstream media, he’d soon set them straight! I’d be surprised if Tesla hasn’t been knocking on Jeff’s door.

Robotaxi will definitely be a winner take most…

Tesla’s approach is so efficient and low cost, in a few months of ramp they will surpass the entire existing fleet of other robotaxis on the road at that time

Didn't Karpathy say that more sensors create more noise, and make it more difficult for the neural nets to make the right decision.

Why does Tesla need to "work with 😅😂

Uber needs to work with Tesla. Tesla is the Alpha here.

Tesla will have cars operating way more efficiently and safely using vision only--like people--but with computer-fast reaction time

Looks like Uber is desperate to partner with TSla!

Radar at scale: When lots of radar units are operated near each other, there will be problems with interference. The band is only so wide, and there are only so many discrete frequencies. When two or more radars nearby are on the same frequency, it just gives you fake news.

Uber owner is making wishful thinking and confusing the public. I have letting my friends drive my FSD car. In fact I let my friend Brett a tow service owner drive my car with one intervention. The intervention was un founded and Brett panicked. Heeheee.

We went to Taco Bell and car drove directly to fast food front door. Then we went back to where we started so he had a customer needing a tow.

He said Damn good. I am sure he will tell every customer he has to tow.

Win win win.

Slap a $500 LiDAR on and then spend huge amounts of money training it and then if it doesn’t help accuracy when there are discrepancies between LiDAR and vision you’ve wasted huge amounts of time and money

I would hope Tesla puts a cap on fleets. If not, the industry will become monopolized, and individual ownership and income will disappear.
I'm not sure if this is something they can figure out how to do but I can see this being necessary

5 years is probably right … FSD can’t even drive me back to my house without intervening twice

Jeff's eyeglasses game is going next level. 👍🏽👍🏽 On a more serious note Tesla is on their own level and everyone else is still trying to figure out the game!

Usage of a map adds complexity. Roads constantly change. Consider construction, new roadway geometries, accidents and here in Michigan we get moving pothole patching crews.

Map based systems have to pair with some level of inference to handle everyday events including pedestrians. They will also have to deal with out of date map databases and drive through this scenario. This requires an AI similar to FSD.

Alternatively, the highly accurate digital maps will require a method to update in realtime.

My thought is that FSD reacts more as a human driver. We have all encountered unexpected roadway events. We resolve them in realtime, just like FSD.

My point is FSD is better able to adapt to unexpected scenarios compared to a map based solution.
