Many thanks for sharing all these valuable points. My Actuarial study at UNSW in Sydney will start next week. I wish I can make a lot of money after the graduation. I am setting my first target today - to get an internship opportunity in a top actuarial company in 2023. I currently have 4 companies in my list: AON, Deloitte, KPMG and PWC. Do you have any recommendation? I am in Australia.

In India there are 15 actuarial exams and the passing rate is very low so would it be smarter to give exams of a foreign actuarial association like IFoA or SOA or would it be too much hassle because of visa and other formal documents?

Hello

I am 42, head of ERM at a bank, and holder of a doctorate degree, I want to embark on actuarial studies, ASA. Does not have degree in math or statistics, math is rusty.
Is it too late for me to start this journey? Do you think I stand a chance to get ASA before age of 47?

Is Company culture or Salary more important to me? Neither is important because I genuinely love being an actuary!
