Tarrant was pissed off, he didn't even wait for him to say "final answer". He usually try to dissuade contestants when they are wrong, but here he obviously wanted him to lose. Final act of contempt was at the end when he said "Well done mate, now go away" lol.

I read an article about this and apparently this guy didn't mean to come across rude. When he scrunched up the £32, 000 cheque, he intended it to be a joke as Chris did that all the time as well as saying "BUT WE DON'T WANT TO GIVE YOU THAT"
