Oh Look...Disney's Next Villain - Take Notes Suits

Darth Vitiate needs to come into Star Wars.
With declining interest amongst fans after poorly written/directed shows like The Acolyte, Kenobi, and Boba Fett, Disney is running out of characters to bring to the screens and in turn, put fans in seats at the next Star Wars movie.
I feel Disney and Lucasfilm need to go to an era not yet told in live action, and discuss Sith Emperor Vitiate and his story in a trilogy of films or more.

In fact, it was Lana Beniko, a Sith Lord, who led the operations to push back against him on Ziost (alongside Republic agent Theron Shan). By then, the Sith Empire had completely disavowed their former Emperor after the whole Revan Reborn debacle on Yavin IV.

The stories of the Old Republic are far beyond anything Star Wars is able to create. And I'm afraid if they touch it, they'll spoil it. And Vitiate was far beyond the power of any other dark side user because, unlike Vader or Palpatine, he wasn't really meant as a character but as the embodiment of the danger the dark side ultimately poses.

You know I really hope Disney doesn’t do anything to mess with the old Republic era of Star Wars. I would absolutely love to see a TV series or a movie based on the old republic, but I would hope that Disney would find someone who genuinely cared about Star Wars in keeping with what’s canon and legends, Oh and, where did you announce the winner of the giveaway?

Watch Disney try to make him a misunderstood villain

Vitiate went through many phases and mindsets in his life. Even though he might've lied to even himself. First he wanted more power. Then he wanted to rule - to a point. And then he wanted immortality beyond time and space. Then when the Hero of Tython broke him temporarily on Dromund Kaas? He slept for a few years and then he decided after eating Ziost that he had what he needed to retain immortality and decided he wanted to rule the galaxy and NOT consume it anymore. Then he changed his mind a 'little bit' again, and wanted to rule through someone else. Only to be fully killed off - in one form.
His original body was then also destroyed along with his Valkorion spirit, and with his full spirit destroyed with his body, he was dead - almost. One last ritual, to try and claw his way back. But this was Vitiate before he consumed all of Nathema. His ultimate goal was again to consume the entire galaxy - but thankfully he was stopped once and for all. He did almost all the Sith ever did in their entire history, including after his final death.

Another note - Vitiate, or Tenebrae, was one of the most powerful Sith at the time - before he consumed Nathema. Then he stole the essence and power of thousands of Sith and all life gave him effective immortality.
But before that first ritual? He was weaker than Palpatine was. Palpatine was the most naturally powerful Sith in all of history. But Vitiate was the most powerful Sith to ever live - after he consumed entire planets. And his fall was still inevitable, because he had the same problem as every other villain. The Light Side. Also known as "The Plot Armor Side."

It's great learning more about Sith history. There were so many great Sith in the old times, it's kind of a shame that Darth Bane brought a stop to that with the Rule of 2. I went crazy when I heard you mention Marka Ragnos because I love Star Wars Jedi Academy
