I have never heard of the non-machinable stamps or the global forever ones. I also didn't realize square envelopes required more postage. Thanks for the great tips!

WOW!!! Lots of great info here, and probably the only video I have ever come across that addresses this! Kudos! I especially appreciate the info on Square cards. I make a lot of 5.5 x 5.5 cards and expected extra postage. This great to know they are considered "Different" and I can now include info for my customers on this!

Very professional tips, was a little unsure about how to mail a holiday greeting card to my girlfriend. I wanted to make sure I make a good impression to her and her folks. Thank you!

FYI. Some postal workers don't know what "hands cancelling" means. If so, "manual postmark" or "postmark by hand" is the more "correct" way of saying it.

Thank you for these great tips. I, too, had never heard of the Non-Machinable or the Global stamps. I kinda knew about not using square cards and you confirmed it for me.

thank you so much, I always wonder what I am suppose to put on a stamp. I mail out about 80-100 cards a month so it is important. I send them to a person on a healing list and wouldn't want them to lose their card. You are the best

If you don't have a non machineable stamp available, you can print in the bottom left corner "Hand Cancel" and they will avoid putting it thru machines. Happy Friday! Thx for this vid:)

Thank you for this information. It is always the "common" knowledge tips that I want to know. Someone just asked me how much a stamp is in 2017, and I didn't know because of the Forever Stamp.

The 70 cent butterfly stamps, are also the stamp to use for a 2 ounce letter. At least that's what they told me at the P.O. when I went to purchase both the 70 cent stamp and the 21 cent stamp. Naturally they pointed out that the 70 cent stamp was 21 cents more then the regular one ounce stamp. I ended up leaving with just one purchase. nice!

I wish we had those butterfly stamps and I like the idea of the Forever stamps. Our postage stamps cost $1 but pensioners are allowed so many books of stamps per year for 60 cents. We can't use them for mailing overseas. Ruth downunder.

I just sent a Hallmark birthday card with two gift cards in it with 1 stamp. I'm so scared I really hope it gets to the destination. I wish I would have known this info earlier
