I get ya, Oh love, I am so so sorry you are dealing with this shit. Ableisum is alive and well in the help community. So hard to ask for help from people who disagree with you abilites and attack you. Having the power to hang food and care over you. Had so much of this when in the hospital while dealing with intimate care, stuff I have yet to mentally deal with. Left in such bad conditions cause of it. I might be way out of my lane here but I know some people in the caring profession (home help, school help, nursing homes, hospitals) and it seems to be that a scary amount of them go into it to feel superior and to reinforce their god complex.
My mum was a support worker for disabled kids in schools and I thought I, having been into schools with her & socialised with/been friends with disabled people, would be a badass ally and then I realised hot shit there is/was so much wrong with how the entire system treats disabled people, how they are taught to treat disabled people, it boggles my mind.
I really hope you get your home help sorted soon so you can get your decent person back.
