You keep using the term home health care. That is not correct. Non-Medical Home Care is what you are referring to. Home Health Care is skilled nursing, PT, OT, and in home medical services and care.

I heard through an agency that the CDS option pays more then the agency. Doing the CDS option you have to do more work as far as.. hiring, firing, payroll etc..

Wow, in California we just call the IHSS office and someone comes out to do an assessment. You'll get maybe 2-4 hrs per week is average. Enough to keep you alive. It's hardly ever more.
