It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. We both have lived near lakes our whole lives and never saw a bird of any kind stuck like this. We did go back to where we took him a few hours layer and he was up in the nest with Mom and Dad 🦅 close by. In the fall they all migrated south.

He's a baby, he probably fell in due to inexperience and was really lucky you came by to give him a 2nd chance.

Amazing how he/she accepted you and your help straight away. It will be a day he/she wont forget in a hurry. Got stuck, got airlifted, got a gourmet meal, got a ride on a spaceship and got to meet two wonderful whatever-they-were's :) Onya guys!!

Thank you for saving him. As some have suggested, he was a baby. I'm glad they respected that he was a wild animal and didn't try to pet him or do anything stupid. Thank you to these people and anyone else who has aided other animals in distress
