Police Officers Close Down Road To Rescue Injured Bald Eagle

Why did the bald eagle cross the road? Cops in Clearwater Florida say, probably to eat some roadkill, but the eagle got stuck on the road after a car hit it. Police and firefighters closed off two lanes of traffic to keep it safe until wildlife rescuers could come help. Veterinary specialists found it had a chipped bone on its wing and performed surgery according to Owl's Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife, which is going to care for the eagle until it's ready to be released back into the wild. #InsideEdition
