Welcome to the Acorn Series! This is Part 1 of many. (At the end of this comment, you can find more details on taking part in the series)

When I first pictured foraging, it was always IN the woods. However, over the years, I realized that finding large amounts of food, like acorns, can be challenging because of limited sunlight and resources.

We are in luck, though, because oak trees are often preserved in cityscapes, yards, and other open areas where they will drop acorns in abundance! In the right spot, I can harvest enough acorns to last me for a very long time in under half an hour!

I'm so excited that you are interested in learning about using acorns as food. We have prepared a ton of videos for you to learn about acorns!

You are welcome to join us in our foraging Discord community to discuss all things acorn foraging (link in channel)

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them below! What are you most looking forward to learning with the Acorn Series?

The best part about foraging acorns is nobody is foraging acorns, so I'm able to gather plenty (but still leave plenty)
