Amazing audio quality, as I can only enjoy these videos by listening to them, and do I miss my travels. I've flown a lot, and being totally blind all my life hasn't done me any harm. Love the video! the Qatar product looks amazing. Would suggest maybe scanning the menu or something because comparing the different menus of different airlines is something i enjoy haha

I'm flying this product in February. Let's hope the bubbly is chilled by then, though I'd probably stick to the LPGS. I'm always wary of ordering beef on a plane - too often overcooked. Great video though and thanks for sharing.

Another great report - thank you. Such a shame you didn't have more time to enjoy the airport lounges - the Al Safwa lounge is exceptional. While there are noticeable differences between First and Business on Qatar, I struggle to justify the uplift in price, given how great Q Suites are, and the errors made during your experience in First (warm Champagne, poorly poured (and spilled) wine, overcooked steak (assuming they asked how you wanted it cooking), missing elements to the dessert etc).

Well... QR's First class seat is definitely better on the A380 but in no world would I complain about this seat layout on a 4 hour flight... I just deboarded a 5 hour flight in Europe without a lie flat seat, no entertainment and no proper service! :D

The pre dep champagne was all flat and warm. They have left them on the service counter for too long without an ice bucket.
If I were paying for the seat I would definitely ask them to open a new bottle.

Thanks for the impressions. For a "First Class" in 2024 / 2025, the seat is terribly disappointing. More like a "Business Plus / Premier" - due to the 10+ years old ex-Cathay-B777. Inferior compared to what other airlines offer nowadays on long-haul. But Qatar still sells these seats at full price, even if you get a much better hardware e.g. on Etihad. For a 4 hour filight it doesn't really matter, but QR continues to use these planes on some of the 8 hours DOH-HKG routings (without Q-Suites in Business) without any upgrades (privacy screens etc).

I would be most annoyed if I had to drag my hand luggage up a flight of stairs in First Class, especially at the Airline's hub!.By the way I'm in my 70's.
