Royal Enfield Classic 350 Touring Review | Astral Ride | Is it as good as a RE Himalayan in Ladakh?

When the good folks at Royal Enfield invited us for the 2021 Astral Ride, we sent ZigWheels' main man Kartikeya Singhee to brush up on not just his rough road riding skills, but also to pick up a new talent for astral photography. While the Royal Enfield Himalayan would have been the first choice for a Ladakh trip, we wanted to mix things up a bit and chose the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 instead to see for ourselves how this new motorcycle handled a proper touring assignment. It was going to be an interesting trip indeed and both man and machine were put through their own tests. It is important to show that an 1200cc adventure bike isn't required to travel less kept roads. In fact you took the 350 through sections that might give adventure bikes a tough time. Well done!

Lets be honest, Classic 350 has been all over India since the 1950s, but, the fact nothing broke and no oil leaks is a testament to the new engineering, and it looks fantastic. Nice vid, thanks for sharing.

I did Delhi-Pune on the new Classic in two days, with 50 kgs of luggage and a crash in between. It could do 90-100 ALL DAY and held up like a tank! Incredible job by RE

My father bought one and its surprisingly good. The exhaust sound in this new version is excellent from the stock.
There are pops from the exhaust at times when you make a perfect gear shift and it makes you smile a lot

very impressed. have a new meteor 350 super nova in brown colour. 85 miles covered so far as weather here in the u k is very rough. i am 72 so take it easy. really enjoy seeing what these bikes are capable of. keep up the good work. best wishes.

I am learning to love the smaller capacity bikes these days as they are moor interesting to ride and very rewarding.
