"The morals of a seagull"

And as we all know- seagulls have a moral compass that points constantly towards the worst direction

Seals are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. Usually though it’s a lawnmower sized screaming flesh bubble with teeth

In seals’ defense, most toddlers have morals of a seagull

“And the morals of a seagull”

Well that explains everything

I've never seen someone praise an animal so good while he still despises it.

I rescued a young seal pup years ago, he was blind in one eye, had a torn flipper, and a skin infection (all info from SSPCA who picked him up for rescue and rehabilitation). Called him Dewgong and spent 11 hours on the beach with Dewgong. Because I’m from a small Scottish Highlands village everyone knows each other so locals came out every hour or so to give me coffee, use their bathroom, and gave me snacks.

Everyone else who wanted to make sure Dewgong was okay had responsibilities like children and jobs, but I’m a disabled cripple who doesn’t work, so I stayed at the beachfront, took my meds every few hours and kept watch over Dewgong. We got him fish in the morning and despite being blind in one eye he was SO FAST getting the fish (from a local fisherman’s catch that morning), like he was feeling sorry for himself and in pain, but once he saw food? He was SPEED! He was FAST!

Still think of seals as sea doggos, they’re just cute and adorable and really cool animals. Anyway, that’s the story of Dewgong the young seal pup who was guarded by a mad ginger for 11 hours (thank GOD I’m a nerd who carries a large battery pack and cable in my backpack at all times with my meds), fed fresh fish in the morning and basically treated like a King!

One of my favorite parts about Jeaneys videos are how they just end once he is done talking. No outro, no fading, no extra comment. Once he is done reading, thats it.

“Morals of a Seagull” is now a descriptor I shall use regularly, thank you for this beautiful phrase

I love how those last few words have such weight.
People could still be on the fence and think that "maybe it isn't that bad" until they hear "morals of a seagull" and realize that that phrase is so powerful that it can't be used willy-nilly, therefore he must be serious.

Had a friend whose father was a navy diver. He said the difference between a shark and a seal is that a shark probably won't mess with you but if it does you're dead but a seal absolutely will mess with you in ways that will make you wish you were.

My father was a seal. Guess it explains why he gets really violent during war documentaries

The phrase 'the morals of a seagull' is truly a terrifying one

I’ve seen a seagull lecturing a seal many times, and they never look bored.
Morality class must be engaging.

I've never heard anyone use the word "bastardous" but now that I have, I'm adding it to my vocabulary.

My mom worked with seals and sea lions for YEARS and this is so accurate! They had to carry around huge sticks to smack them on the nose with if they get too close (which doesnt hurt them much considering they weigh half a ton)
