Hey Everyone, I use to get these calls all the time and when I could, I recorded them and post the videos on YouTube. I just uploaded a New App to record the calls and can't wait to share them with you.

I keep my phone on silent 95% of the time (due to working night shift and my own mental health/burnout) but on days I don't feel up to waste their time, I just tell them that I sold whatever car they think I have and that I just bought a new car with a 10 year warranty and tell them that they can either call me back in 10 years or remove me from their database.

When I do feel like having fun, I will make sure that they have a car that I have never owned (so even on my worst day I could never fall for it) and I say that I don't live in whatever zipcode they think I live in (they also call me from the phone area code that matches my phone number, which is where I grew up which is 2 states from where I live which is an easy red flag) Then I just let them talk. They go through the spiel, I ask questions about warranty options, which one would they recommend, what is the specific payment info (ie years/payments, interest rates) and then when it comes to the payment information, I give them a similar but fake cardholder name (always adding a Sr. for good measure), and when reading the card info SLOWLY, I keep the first number the same (as it relates to the type of credit card you have, ie Mastercards always begin with a 5. And I either change every odd number or every even number, sometimes up 1 and sometimes down 1. And then I give a slightly different exp date and security code on the back. They will run it and say there is an issue and I will ask them to read the number back to me, and I will change one of those numbers the second time and tell them to run it again. After it fails, usually they get mad and then I can swear at them, and sometimes they've invested so much time and energy that they will swear at me back for another 5-10 minutes instead of hanging up. I usually can waste about 15 minutes of their time but once it was over 30 minutes, not to mention that their callback number WORKED so I could keep calling them from different numbers.

Nothing high tech like Jim Browning or Scammer Payback, and nothing super theatrical like Kitboga, but it's honest work.

Just saw your video you posted about these auto warranty scammers. But what really got my attention is that you talk about Comics. I have about 203 copper age comics, I would love to see your videos about comics.

I've been getting "Final Courtesy" calls and notices for about 5 years and they still can't close my files. Wonder how much they have wasted in mailings and calls I have never responded to!

I have received ten extended warranty notices in the last ten months all with "final notice" on it.

9/10 of these calls you get are from real companies and then 9/10 of those real companies are selling bad coverages, misrepresenting your policy and telling you they’re giving you a higher level of coverage than it really is, and then the 1/100 calls that are both legitimate and also sell good coverages only the best available for your car that are upfront and don’t try to make the coverage sound better than it is are usually not worth it for the average consumer but can be great investments depending on your financial situation and your vehicles information

It's not a scam, it's what American companies do to save millions, hire outside the country to do call calling.
