Stings hair can’t decide whether to fall out or stay for the last 35 years. It’s amazing

Rick Beato has done more for great music in the last five years than anyone I can think of. Rick has so much great music knowledge that he has passed on to lovers of the intricacies or nuances like me than anyone I can think of. I just hang on every word, I bough his Beato book; he's just amazing and I'm very grateful for him and his talents he shares.

Rick, this was one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. He started off stand-offish, maybe wondering if you were just going to be a superficial interviewer as most are, but he quickly realized that you have great musical depth.

Stuart's drumming was like nothing i have ever heard, and Andys use of space with those chord shapes. Pure genius.

Sting’s high tenor is amazing. One of my favorite things about that band.

Why is Sting so dang intelligent whenever he speaks. He doesn’t have to swear to make a point, and always so gentleman like. True rockstar!!!

Sting is one of those heavy breathers, listen when Rick is speaking 😂

I saw the entirety of this interview. Sting has his guard up at the beginning but about 5 min in, he realised Rick is a fellow musician and not a journalist or fanboy. He became relaxed and shared some great information about The Police.

It takes a special gift to have written so many timeless melodies with meaningful poetic lyrics.

Sting is in my mind probably one of the most prolific songwriters of the 20th century, he just has a muse for it, that said, I may not always agree with what he’s singing about but the musicality of his structure, arrangement, melody and rhythm, he’s amazing.

All three of Rick's interviews with The Police band members are wonderful viewing.
Apart from the fact each of them has a distinct personality they couldn't have worked together any better than they did.
Great band, and great interviews Rick.

This interview started a bit awkward, but when Sting warmed up to Rick, it became a very interesting interview.

I had a girlfriend in Nashville who worked with Sting When he was recording with Waylon Jennings and she could not say enough nice things about how personable he was which is kind of in contrast to how he looks rather like a stern cowboy or English knight

Sting talking about Bach in the first five minutes of this interview made me so happy...

Totally true. I love old baritones who sang with orchestras, sinatra, crosby, nkc etc, but almost all R&R are tenors and tenors singing in falsetto for that matter

One of the greatest vocalists in R&R history. Absolute icon.

1978 was my sophomore year in high school as well. The Police were so unique on the radio....yes radio was king. Sting

Never thought of Sting as a heavy metal singer, but after he said that I thought it would be cool to him do a heavy metal song or hard rock. He has such a unique voice and style

Sting is really chill when it comes to interviews, things like that. But with business, he is another animal and is very protective of his legacy.
