My daughter, 8, came out of her very first trial lesson crying, said to me she is not interested in ballet anymore. I insisted we find a good school, one who focuses on method and systematic teaching, not bullying the little kids that they are not good enough. I went on youtube to show her what a real ballet lesson looks like. A few seconds into this vid, I liked and keeping it to show her. I can’t believe you are offering real lessons online! My mom is signing me up for a summer ballet session that starts July 5th after years of quitting ballet.
My plan is to go to class without being confused and actually knowing a lot of what my teacher says, thank you, I will be practicing these videos all month and next month long.


Edit: I signed with a different ballet studio, but so far the classes have been great! I started August 10th and have been to 3 classes so far! My teacher is also very communicative and sweet :)

I feel very motivated to start learning with your videos. Recently I turned my back from everything I'd done in life to pursue my dreams. One of them is to be the best dancer I can be. I share the self-consciousness others have about age—at nearly 32 there is a lot of self-neagtivity I combat in turning to learning ballet. I always danced freestyle but secretly knew I yearned for something more disciplined. I lack resources to fo anything in person, but you present ballet in an inviting way for an older man like me to be a part of something beautiful even if it will be in a small way. Thank you!

I am so grateful that I found your channel. I completed the Absolute Beginner Ballet series last week and today started the first lesson of Beginner Ballet. You are a brilliant teacher! I've never seen such amount of details in a ballet class for adults (I took several beginner lessons in my 20s). Usually in the physical class, there is no time to absorb and clearly see all the details of the movements. I remember how I struggled with coupés or jetés because the music was always too fast and I couldn't control the movement. I now realise that some of the movements I never executed correctly because they were not properly explained. Thank you for breaking down things and taking it slowly. Really appreciate your tremendous work.

Please don't ever stop teaching us !! 😢 I'm older, , hmm. I always wanted to do ballet. My parents made me take piano. Now I have severe arthritis in my spine but I am stubborn and decided to learn from your classes. It does make me sore but I notice the pain is less than if I don't do this. I absolutely love this. I can do a turn out all the way and balance. I think I would have been good had I learned young. My brain has not caught up with my body yet. I think I'm still 16 😅 I
This helps me get up in the morning . Read my Bible, , then ballet 😂 then walk. I truly love this. Thank you for doing this for free ❤
