Thanos in the GOTG vol 1 looks like the devil himself and that "bathe the starways in your blood" is the most horrifying threat of all time. Ronan is lucky he got killed by the guardians and the nova corps or else he would've been eaten alive by the outriders and the chitauri while Thanos would be sitting on his throne and enjoying every moment of it.
