Kawasaki KX500! Incredible 500cc 2-Stroke Build!

Today we go over the our KX500 build we built a while back with our buddy Donnie. The latest addition we had for this build was a Rekluse auto-clutch. This is an amazing 500cc machine and the whole crew ripped this thing around Glen Helen before it hangs out in Donnies garage.

I got a used baja 500 team green kx 500 in the late 90s from one of my well known fellow club members in nevada. I now kick myself for getting rid of it. What a machine!

1:31 Did you see that rear shock spring compress when he revved the bike. Thats one reason why they stopped making them. The 500's vibrate so much.

FMF also makes the Gnarley Desert pipe. It’s a broader power and which is nice in the KX since they run out of RPM at about 8k.
