The 2024 Porsche 911 S/T ($290,000 USD starting, $325,900 CAD starting) is a lightweight high performance GT car that aims to be the purest form of road-going 911. It’s powered by a 518 horsepower naturally aspirated flat-six engine, and revs all the way to 9000 rpm. It’s also seen significant S/T specific changes, such as a single mass flywheel and lightweight clutch. 14:50 I would actually argue that you don't have to buy a 911 S/T to get this kind of experience, because a new ND Miata at 2, 300 LBS offers a very similar drive to this car. Extremely light weight, a revvy NA engine, soft suspension, little sound deadening and a fantastic manual gearbox. But apart from that, this really is it. What a glorious machine.

I completely agree with Thomas haha light, na, manual cars should be the standard and not the 500, 000 dollar rarities that they’ve become. You shouldn’t have to pay more money to get less things in your car
