Evercade is in its 3rd year and has already has 3 hardware releases. The need to let their products breath for a while and focus on more software. They can release the next console when it can support N64, Dreamcast, and late 90's PC & Arcade games.

I hope not. If these consoles only have a lifespan of 1 year then I may reconsider my support of this company. There should not be a successor to the VS until 2027 at a minimum. That would be a 5 year lifespan, which is the low-end of what a console should have.

Yeah, them going to USB-C with future models would be a good move . I wouldn’t put it past Blaze to make a more powerful one by beginning of 2024. I can imagine us getting a purple Evercade VS in 2023 😁.

Rather than releasing a new console could blaze just not allow us to send the OG in and they upgrade the charging port ?

No. It’s not needed. The only new hardware I want blaze to release is a trackball, paddle and an arcade stick.
