Even with metalbending, firebending is still very useful for extracting metal (we have never seen that earthbenders can change the forms of rocks/metals) and for producing plastics and platinum!

I think that one of the most underated advantages of firebending and even airbending is that if you're skilled enough you dont even need your members to bend.

I'm an Aries(which is a fire symbol), I'm hot-headed, I like looking at flames and lightning, and even though fire is not the most powerful in all of the 4 elements, I just love how it has a lot of practical uses.
Fire is destructive in its nature but proper control is the key to its potential.
Seeing this makes my heart jump for joy.
