The Lord's Prayer: (6/6) 'Lead us not into temptation'

Probably the most well-known section of the Bible in the world is the Lord's prayer...but what on earth does it mean when someone says it? When you look into it, it is full of fascinating nuances and principles that God has for us.

Just a quick note: if videos like this are not your cup of tea, that's okay! You don't have to watch it: move along...these aren't the droids you're looking for. Plenty of photography videos are coming soon. People sometimes ask me why I don't put Christian videos on a separate channel. Ultimately, my YouTube channel has always been meant to encompass all kinds of video work I do, not just photography. People have a choice whether or not to watch any of my videos that pop up in their feed. I'm sure that anyone who isn't interested in videos about God is tolerant enough just to wait until a video about photography comes up :-)

As well as making videos about photography, as part of my studies to become a vicar I do a lot of Christian video work. This was a project my friend Will wanted to work on - we spent a whole day traveling around south Wales, getting some old friends just to talk to us about the Lord's prayer. It was great!

Big big atheist me, grew up in the catholic church, sang in the church choir, served on the alter and did my St Stephens Guild which is an International Organisation of Altar Servers founded in England in 1904 by Father Hamilton McDonald when he formed a Society of Altar Servers at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in London.

I love this video and for all the right reasons. Its clearly marked that its our lords prayer, having watched most of your lens reviews, i was curious to see the filming of it. Beautifully done, well done and thank you.

I find it absolutely astounding to see so many "Unsubbed... lens yes, religion no" comments. 
A: it's his channel.
B: these videos are clearly titled and described. I'm don't get how that can be confusing or misleading. You knew what this will be about when you clicked it.
C: when YT is filled with "religious" videos that are more about politics and arguing it's actually refreshing to see someone talk about the bible and how it helped them.
D: even if you're not a religious person (like me) you can still enjoy these videos. Why?
Because they are really well done videos. Watch part 5 in particular. The camera work, the framing, the focus pulls etc. I learned something from it. Not about the bible. I learned about making a clip with a nice soothing mood. 

Oh and Christopher: I love the fact that you have hardly any people in the background. Could you tell me at what time of night was this shot?

People read the title, which starts with "The Lord's Prayer", come to this video, write about how they disagree with this kind of content and that they don't want to watch it and that they're unsubscribing... What insanity. You clicked on the video. You read the title.

Anyways, I'm not the most religious and have been trying to rediscover my faith, so thank you for this video.
