Here in the USA we have: pensions (not as common now), 401k/403b through work, traditional IRA, Roth IRA and taxable. Same thinking though: when can you get it-how is it taxed? Brad at choose Fi covers this extensively.

With Roth Iras in America the age is 59.5 but you can ALWAYS get out your contributions although I wouldn't... taking ng the soldiers out of the game.

Quick Q - if it is better to be with Halifax when you have higher amounts of investment, can you CHANGE platform once you hit this eg from vanguard to Halifax. Nowhere near there yet, just useful to know!
