Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is a book that helps you understand how to properly employ your money to build wealth.

It’s a very generic book, but it does give some valuable insight. If you are new to wealth building, this is a must read. If you’ve invested for a while and know what you’re doing, you’ll learn nothing new.

Yes. A home is not an investment. I hate it when people call it an investment. It’s certainly better than renting, but it’s not an investment. When you add up the down payment, the property taxes, the mortgage the maintenance and remodeling expenses your family will be fortunate to sell it for as much as you spent when your dead.

I think he also invests in oil drilling and other commodities too. I figured his book was pretty basic. My parents got me it when I was 12 and I didn't read it but I wish I had. I would imagine it's good for newbies but like you said it's high level.

I don't like Rich Dad poor Dad the book and the guy I just feel that it's really lowbrow and entry level I feel like he just is a hustler of low-level crap Etc. Look up John T Reed's opinion of Robert he's written extensively about him. Also I watched a number of your videos lately and we're about the same age you're a year or so older than me. Is your day job with the federal government? Because I know you're in the reserves for the military but I wasn't sure if for your day job you worked in the private sector. was just curious about that. I did enjoy this video though.
