Legendary actor Denzel Washington says a recent movie role hasn’t changed his views on America’s criminal justice system and that black incarceration finds its roots in fatherless homes.

I'm a Hispanic American, neither black nor white. Denzel is my all-time favorite actor and I believe he is a wise man. I raised my children and taught them right from wrong. Does racism exist? Yes. I wholeheartedly agree with Denzel regarding Black Fatherhood. This is the most important responsibility of the Black Man. Raising your son to be a responsible, thoughtful, productive gentleman is imperative. This will greatly help to break the chain of racism and incarceration by making sure that our Black Sons understand their worth and know that NO ONE is better than they are.
