Great advice. What I do to turn off from work mode from my everyday life is I take a deep breath and leave all my work worries at the door. I then turn on life away form work mode and I continue to focus on my daily tasks.

Love this, thanks Marie. The bf and I have a no phone rule while having our date nights. It's massively important to connect in real life. Nothing terrible or drastic is going to happen if as business people we send one less email, tweet or message each evening. We can just resume as planned the next morning.

Love the basics and how simple you made it! I tend to do the same thing, have a hard time getting out of "work mode".... I definitely do the turning off everything act. Makes it much easier when it is not in front of you!

The way I turn off my work mode is to turn on my at-home mode. I take a nice shower/bath once I get home, then put on my comfy pjs, and have some childish fun with my husband. ^^ Oh, I turn my cellphone to silent mode.
