Hello! I have a question that has nothing to do with this video but I am really hoping you can help me process something!
I interviewed for a job last Friday that I feel like is the perfect job for me at a company that I am now in love with. I nailed the interview (with help from you!). They got back to me today and said they had to give the job to an internal candidate but they were so impressed by me that they don't want to lose me. So, they're creating a position for me. Very flattering; however, since they're creating the position, the funding isn't there. They can come up with a decent salary but it isn't the same as the one I applied to. It's a 12% pay decrease. I'm struggling with that. They did tell me there will be room to grow but I'm not sure what that will look like exactly. Do you have any insight you can share on this?
