I deliberately chose to avoid using any "Hatin" puns in this video as it would be too cringey.

Fun Fact: Haiti was the first country that recognized my country Greece as an independent nation :)

Dominican here! I've been to Haiti and I absolutely loved it. Media is being so unfair with Haiti. In my country, you can perceive a lot of bad propaganda about the country, such as: they have no trees, they are the poorest and chaotic people on Earth and so on. I was sick of hearing all that stuff that our Dominican media tells us, so I decided to go to Haiti and I'm very proud to say that I loved the country, the people, the language, the culture... Everything. We are so alike and different at the same time that it is amazing to think that in just one island, you can appreciate such a variety of culture. Greetings to my fellow Haitians, from Dominican Republic. Love for you and your undoubtedly amazing country!

Many Haitians live here in my town in Brazil. I have talked to some of them and I really enjoy their presence here. They are really cool people. Love from Brazil to the Haitian people :-)

Fun Fact: For sone reason, haitian Kompa music is REALLY popular in Panama. People have no idea what the lyrics say, but they just make their own in Spanish.

When I was in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, I was able to communicate directly with the Creole-speaking locals (I speak French passably, so I was happy that I made myself understood).  As an American, I was warmly received everywhere I went in that country.  The omnipresent poverty was appalling, but the people's pride in their country's historical uniqueness was clear, as well (I remember a small group  of children who approached me one morning, and sang their national anthem in French just for me).
Unfortunately, Haiti has been poorly served both by its politicians, and by the "international community."

Haiti was the first country to recognise my country (Greece) way before the Great Powers (which they did Because of their interests). Thank you Haitians !!

The Venezuela Relationship: After Simón Bolivar failed attempt to liberate Venezuela, he went to Jamaica and was denied protection, after an assassination attempt on his life, he went to Haiti where Petion granted him protection. The first President of Haiti Alexandre Petion gave him war strategy, soldiers, boats and money. Simon Bolivar went back and liberated Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Panama. Venezuela has an upmost respect for Haiti, because we played a roll and fought for their independence.

There are a ton of haitians here in Brazil, a few of them work in a warehouse at the end of the road where I live. They're all super hard working and grateful for the job, one of them even became a manager for the company. They're friendly and all of the brazilian workers like them.
Much love and respect to these people who know how to integrate and be productive in a completely foreign country, Haitian people are an asset here!

you forgot to mention Brazil as one of the best friends of Haïti. Brazilian troops were on the leadership of the UN mission in Haïti, and Brazil gave thousands of humanitarian visas to Haitian people.
